My primary vessel for all of the paddling being done for the book is a Wilderness Systems Tsunami 140. This kayak is the perfect boat for Utah's waters. It provides all the necessary features that you would need in a boat.

The Tsunami 140 is a "Transitional Touring" boat. This means it has the stability and comfort of a recreational kayak but has the capacity and design of a touring kayak. This design is versatile enough for you to throw it on a lake for a day paddle or plan longer trips with ease.

We have christened the vessel "Pepper." This is one hot boat!

In addition to this boat, I also own three other kayaks which I use to bring family and friends along on paddle trips. Each of these boats are focused on flatwater paddling and are also fun to paddle.
